Metallica: Lost Song ideas

Kirk Hammett has lost his cell phone and so on 250 untapped song ideas for Metallica.

The guitarist of the band admitted in the podcast 'The Jasta Show' that he has lost his phone. He explained Moderator Jamey Jasta: "I was devastated, I had made no backup When it happened I was totally depressed for two or three days I look up today after him [the phone] It might still show up.... I hope that happens. " Next, the 52-year-old was a tip that not only musicians should take to heart: "All the musicians out there who use their phone [to the Ideas Hub], ensures that you make a backup, ok?"

Despite losing cell phone Metallica are working hard on their new album. About this Hammett told that there was similarity with the last album 'Death Magnetic'. It was "super riffig and super hard," says the musician. Between the last album and the new record over six-years and seven months have passed. Recently reported Hammett in an interview with 'Billboard' that currently 25 percent of the new album were completed: "The songs are constantly changing at this point, nothing is set in stone We still have a lot of material, by which we must work through us.. . We have more than a dozen songs and 200 to 300 riffs, so it's hard to say at what point of the project we're actually arrived. I do not think we've done it in half. I would say, we have 25 percent, maybe 30 percent ... "
